Hello Everyone. We’ve come to the end of our Winter 2025 season. We had a great finish with exciting finals. Lomas won Div. 1 against R-Town. Pho Real won another championship in Div. 2. This time against Southsiders. Might be a dynasty. And Cookies and Kareem played a terrific game with undefendable 3 point shooting to win against WeTheNorthwest. Photos of the winning teams are now posted. One exciting development is that the original trophies for Div. 3 and Div. 1 just showed up. They had been missing since Covid, and we had searched extensively the past couple of years with no luck. We are still hoping to find the original Div. 2 trophy. There is a lot of history in those trophies, especially the Div. 1 trophy as that was the original league trophy when the league only had one Division. There is a bunch of engraving to catchup on, and we will aim to catchup over the summer.

Thanks to all the players, especially the captains, for a successful season. Thanks also to Sunset, Kits, and Kerrisdale for facilitating this league. Thanks especially to the staff at each of the three community centers who setup for us each Sunday. They do a great job. This is our 30th year, so we’ve reached quite a milestone. Many players have been in this league 15+ years with some having played 20+ years.

We will continue this Fall and look forward to a great finish to our 30th year of league operation. Registration will open mid August. Thanks everyone. Biraj
